Appendix 1: "Publication Comprising the Numismatic Index of
Periodicals (NIP)" is an annotated listing of all journals and
magazines that are included in the NIP.
Appendix 2: "Museum Collections" is a database of one hundred forty-one (n=141) records of museums in the United States known to have had significant numismatic collections. This number included fifty-one (n=51) museums associated with colleges and universities. Appendix 3: "Collection Sales" is a database of one hundred-fourteen (n=114) American museums known to have sold all or portions of their numismatic holdings from 1882 through 2005. Appendix 4: "Numismatic Events" is a list of one hundred eighty-six (n=186) numismatic "events" reported in the numismatic literature as occurring at universities and colleges from 1863 through 2004. |
